Dress Code
MAP Standard Attire Policies (2025–2026)
In addition to the district-wide Standard Attire policies set by the Midland ISD Board of Trustees, students attending Midland Alternative Program (MAP) are required to follow these campus-specific guidelines while serving their placement:
Required Attire
- Khaki pants only – No exceptions. Not allowed: cargo pockets, rips, holes, patches, skinny jeans, or gym shorts underneath.
- Plain black t-shirt (no logos or pockets)
- Black or white tennis shoes only – No steel-toe boots, sandals, or house shoes.
⚠️ Students out of dress code will be denied entrance, sent home, and the day will not count toward placement.
Prohibited Items
- No jewelry, makeup, lip balm, money, cell phones, bandanas, or any other personal items.
- No backpacks or electronic devices.
- Students may bring house/car keys only. Students are not allowed to drive to campus.
MAP is not responsible for any personal belongings brought onto campus. Confiscated items will be discarded or returned only to a parent/guardian by appointment. Items not picked up by the last day of school may be disposed of or donated.
All garments and personal items are subject to search by MAP staff at any time.
